Equine Connection

Equine Connection focuses on an approach with horses that is both ethical and has at its roots an understanding of the horse as a sentient being. At its heart, it fosters a meeting on the horse’s terms. It's about rethinking what it means to have or be around horses, with the focus on the horse's welfare and wellbeing.

• This is a completely non ridden workshop suitable for both seasoned horse owners and those wishing to understand horses better.
• It challenges many of the ways in which domesticated horses are kept and managed.
• It encompasses principles of equine ethology, equine behaviour and body language.
• It will include observation and sharing space with horses, with NO expectations placed on them.
• We'll look at how intention, breathing, mindfulness and approaches such as the horseman’s handshake can open up a true heart connection that leads to inter-species communication.
• Please note this is NOT Equine Facilitated Learning and my horses are not used in this way.
• This is Connection with the Spirit of the Horse.
• A comprehensive handout is included
• The workshop can also be used as a prelude to Equine Reiki training if desired.
