Midwinter Gathering

The beautiful setting here at Shaman's Retreat is perfect for honouring the true meaning of the Winter Solstice. Join me on this special occasion to honour the natural instinct we all feel at this time to go inward - to rest, reflect and rebirth. I've brought together elements that nurture and nourish the spirit. The day will include:

• Blessing bowl on arrival
• Ceremony and story telling
• Connecting, reflecting and sharing thoughts as a group in front of the woodburner, with rugs, blankets and warming drinks
• Meditation and shamanic journeying to help release what is no longer needed and focus on intentions
• A walk in nature
• Warming garden soup and rolls for lunch
• Creation of your own wreath, using evergreens supplied and including gifts foraged from the walk
• Journaling your intentions

• Finish with a labyrinth walk to birth your intentions

Administration

The gathering is restricted to 8 people. Please wear comfortable casual clothing, and bring suitable outdoor wear and walking boots or wellies. The walk can be quite muddy at times and may include undulating fields and hills. Please note all participants are responsible for their own wellbeing at all times. Lunch is vegetarian and hot drinks are available throughout the day.
