Tree Connection Day

Trees are some of the tallest beings on earth and our ancestors knew how to communicate with them.    In modern times this deep level of understanding has virtually disappeared in favour of the science  - the focus being more about their physical nature and how  a forest works.  As valuable as this is, there is something missing. Fragments remain in ancient celtic manuscripts of a hidden 'language' or system of knowledge known as the Ogham.   Join me on a journey to explore

• The ancient script and alphabet of the Ogham
• Discover the celtic worldview and understanding of the shamanic nature of everything
• Learn to draw the ancient sigils of 20 native trees 
• Discover the key associations of each of the trees and what they mean for you
• Gain knowledge of the energy fields of trees and how to approach them
• Experience a personal tree connection
• Deepen your awareness of tree dryads and other nature spirits
• Explore how each tree fits into a yearly cycle
• Experience using ogham as divination tool

Administration

1. You will need to be fit enough to walk outside for up to an hour on possible uneven terrain and rutted ground in some places.
2. Please wear comfortable casual clothing and bring suitable outdoor wear for the time of year and prevailing weather conditions.
3. Please bring your own lunch.  I will provide water and various teas.
4. I provide a handout but please bring your own journal and pen to make any personal notes
